Job Description Summary

To provide a safe and fun experience for all campers enrolled in the summer camp program. 

Oversee a full day experience for elementary age children in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities including field trips, special guests and swimming.

 Provide a positive and structured environment for all patrons.

 Create, plan, and implement daily youth activities.

 Enforce all camp safety rules and regulations in a calm and professional manner.

 Assist with clean up, set up, and all daily preparations for camp.

 Keep basic records on campers and camp activities.

 Camp Counselors will work a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. 

 Camp Counselors must be able to work the entire camp session, which runs from late May to early August.

 Other duties assigned by supervisors.


Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Applicants should be responsible, mature, and patient.

Experience working with elementary age school children.

Ability to work well with children and adults.

Applicants should possess a high energy level, excellent communication skills, and self-control.
