Job Description Summary

High School diploma or equivalent required.  Previous library experience preferred.

Maximum of 19 hours per week – Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays

  • Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public.
  • Experience with computers and standard office software.
  • Must be able to lift or move 25lbs.; stand & move about the library for extended periods of time, and be able to stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • Employee will perform circulation services, including checking materials in and out, shelving materials, issuing library cards, explaining policies, collecting & recording payments, assisting patrons on public access computers & with digital resources.
  • Performs related duties as required.
